I’ve known one girl who was a victim of child prostitution and that’s way back in PH. That was 1990s and there was a girl who was shouting for help (night time). Since my family is so helpful, we let the girl get inside our house and we took care of her. Morning came and I decided to go with her. I just need her to be safe for I and my family believed that she’s a victim. But when we reached the city, she tried to bring me to a place where there were lots of bad guys. Its good thing that there’s a voice within me saying not to go with her in that area. Instead of going with her, she should go with me in a police station. So that’s what I did. I sent her to a local police station in the city. And there’s one police woman who whispered to me that she’s one of the child prostitute for she’s still so young. One of the head officer asked that the girl would go with them so that she would be turned over to the Social Welfare. We reached to our destination – the headquarters of the city police. After turning her over to the local authority, there’s one police woman who talked to me again. She said, good thing I turned her over to them. I said I’m almost a victim of that girl good thing I’m being guided and taught of positive ideas of turning her over to their office. If I went with her in that scary place in the part of the city, maybe I can’t go home in my place for that place was one of the scary places in the city. And I’m thankful to God for guiding in on the right thing to do.

I’m angry again. I don’t know why I would easily get angry. Is this a sign of getting old? Irritability is not good. Sigh! I need patience and I need to learn more about it. I’m a mother already and that I need to act like a mother! What’s happening with me! I’m not a teenager anymore! I’m not also a single person anymore! I do hope that one of these days, I’ll learn more about life of being a mother and being a wife.

I hate it. The house is very hot since the swamp cooler is destroyed. There’s one portable air conditioner but it’s just the living room that will get cool. The room and the rest of the house, it’s so hot. For me, it’s okay. I’m used of warm-hot temperature. But my baby is sweating a lot. I transferred him to the living room for I thought he is sleeping. When we reach there he is wide awake. And now, we are back in the living room so that he can sleep in his crib. I’ll just transfer him again later when he will be sleeping soundly.

Since my husband is the one bringing financial thing in the family, I’m shy and hesitant in asking financial support for my family in the Philippines (PH) not unless it’s needed or there’s an emergency. But from the time I have earnings in blogging like around February this year, it’s so easy for me to share some monthly support with my parents anytime I want to. I use MONEYGRAM the first time and until now.

Anyway, there’s an unforgettable story behind the first time I shared my earnings to my parents. Since I’m still confused and still recovering with what I’ve been through with my baby, seems everything was confusing to me. When I called them up, informing that I sent some financial thing, I dictated them right numbers to present with the MONEYGRAM agent so that they can claim the money that I sent. But I was wrong in telling them the establishment on where they can claim it. Actually, the building is owned by one particular businessman but different establishments with different address. Since I’m not comfy with the information I gave them, I called them up the following day. I asked them if they were able to get the money but they said ‘not’ for it’s a wrong company. So I look at the MONEYGRAM website again and look for a particular agent with me listing the right address and the right telephone numbers so that they can claim the money that I sent. After that, they were able to claim it and my parents were so happy receiving that small amount.

The next months came by and I’m still sending monthly support for them. But I’m tired of dictating those numbers so that they can present it with the MONEYGRAM agent together with the IDs of my father. So I’ve decided to have an ATM LBC Load since it’s the link with MONEYGRAM in PH. I sent separate money so that they can open an ATM account with local LBC. I called them up to know the bank account number the following day. Then I log in with my MONEYGRAM account. That time I am not sure the meaning of RRN. What I did, I put the account number that they gave me. My account is blocked. So I called up MONEYGRAM and explain to them about my confusion. They fix my account and they explained to me the meaning of RRN. Also, they gave me the number on which I can call so that I can set an account with LBC Manila for my RRN. After calling them, everything is set and even if I didn’t receive the welcome kit yet, they said that its okay for me to send money with the account that I set so that when my parents will receive the ATM from them, there will be funds in it.

One thing I can say with MONEYGRAM together with LBC ATM Load, their services are convenient and safe way in sending financial support for my family in PH. ATM Load is so quick. Money will be sent in less than 5 minutes. It’s different with the Pick up at agent service wherein I need to wait several minutes before they will approve my transaction (but it’s still safe though). With LBC ATM Load it’s so quick.

To make the long story short, she’s converted into a true believer of God with the aid of Oasis of Love. She then slowly convinced her babies one by one to join with her. And that moment I’ve listened to her amazing story I can see on her face that she’s really true with what she’s sharing. Her life style is simple and down to earth for she said, she’s so materialistic before. As in all the luxurious she can think of, she would buy it and put it on. But right after she’s converted and become a true believer of God, she changed her life. During that time, she convince her other son and hoping to bring her other son together with them. And that’s the end of her story.

I find it so amazing that despite of her having big position in her work, she still shared it to everybody. She said, she will share it and it’s up to the one who will listen if it will be taken positively or negatively. She just want to serve as an example of a sinful person and convert herself into a believer of God with the aid of Oasis of Love a Catholic group.

For me, that’s so memorable and I’ll not forget it since there are lots of morals in her story.
